About
This house was a fun renovation project for my husband and I. We wanted to provide a space that stands out and provided a comfortable and creative space for visitors. We are 1.2 miles from the Gonda Building of the Mayo Clinic and located on the bike and bus routes.
Good to know
There are no stairs to enter the home. The main floor of the home has a living room, full kitchen, full bath with step in shower and a king bedroom. The second floor has a queen bed with en suite bathroom with bathtub. There is also a sunny workspace on the second floor.

We are located in one of the original neighborhoods in Rochester. There are lots of interesting and unique homes in the neighborhood full of families and long time Rochester Residents. A very neighborhood feel, while being within walking/biking to trails, downtown, parks, and entertainment.

We had a great stay at the house during a Mayo Clinic visit. Used Uber to get back and forth- a 4-5 minute drive. The place was a pleasant haven during a stressful time. Had a few questions along the way and Becca was super helpful and responded quickly. I'd stay there again any time.

We stayed at Becca’s place for a little over two weeks and we absolutely loved it. It was close to Mayo, super clean, the beds were comfortable, and we loved that it was off the road, which made it feel more private. We stayed here for my mom’s treatment, and the entire energy of the house was just what she needed! Bright, comfortable, inviting; and Becca was so kind and communicative. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to Rochester!

The Color House is a cozy spot with amazing hosts! We loved the pet-friendliness, the front patio furnished with comfy furniture, and how close it is to “everything Mayo.” We had all that we needed-plenty of supplies in all rooms. Becca was so helpful when we needed local recommendations, and always rapidly responsive. Highly recommend!!

The Color House was the perfect spot for our stay. While the house is small, the layout and decor is very thoughtful and accommodated 3 adults and an infant easily. The upstairs space is a dreamy private accommodation with a work space if needed. Would definitely stay here again. Becca was also a very attentive host.

We are on the bike path and bus route. Uber, Lyft, and Taxi services are readily available with ample off street parking if you prefer to drive.
Seasonally there are electric scooters & e-bikes available for rent around the city.
